Late 1978—Mid-1980s

During a year spent in Basel, Switzerland (while wife Patricia was seconded to the BIS) Tadasky created a series of small works on paper, and roved around Europe with two boys and wife in a VW microbus. Some of those small works became studies for larger paintings after he returned to his 5,000 square-foot studio in Soho during the1980s. The pottery moved upstate around the same time.
